All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. (2 Timothy 3: 16)
There is one God, uncreated, eternally existent in three Persons.
For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.(1 John 5: 7)
God created the World.
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. (Genesis 1: 1)
God created Man in His own image.
God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. (Genesis 1: 27)
Man is fallen and sinful and needs a Saviour.
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. (Romans 3: 23)
Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all me, for that all have sinned: (Romans 5: 12)
God promised a Messiah, who would save Man from sin.
Therefore, the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. (Isaiah 7: 14)
The Lord Jesus Christ, the promised Messiah, was born of the virgin Mary.
And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins. Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, ‘Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel’, which being interpreted is, God with us. (Matthew 1: 21-23)
The Lord Jesus Christ is both fully Man and fully God.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (John 1: 1)
And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us. (John 1: 14)
For in Him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. (Colossians 2: 9)
The Lord Jesus Christ gave His life and died to take away the sin of the world.
But God commends his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5: 8)
For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures. (1 Corinthians 15: 3-4)
The Lord Jesus Christ rose from the dead in a physical resurrection.
And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you. (Matthew 28: 5-7)
The Lord Jesus Christ ascended into heaven, but He is coming back.
While they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven. (Acts 1: 9-11) And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. (John 14: 3)
The Holy Spirit was sent to help and comfort the believer.
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. (John 14: 26)
Salvation is a gift from God, received by grace through faith on the Lord Jesus Christ.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (John 3: 16-18)
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. (Ephesians 2: 8-9)
Believers on the Lord Jesus Christ should be baptised by immersion, in accordance with scripture.
Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. (Romans 6: 4).
Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus. And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized? And Philip said, If you believe with all your heart, you may. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptised him. (Acts 8: 35-38).
Believers are to remember the Lord Jesus Christ, till He come.
For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, that the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread: And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, this cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come. (1 Corinthians 11: 23-26)
The Church is the body of Christ, and Christ is the Head.
And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ. (Ephesians 4: 11-15)
The hope of eternal life is with the believer, but eternal wrath awaits the unbeliever. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6: 23)
He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abides on him. (John 3: 36)
The Church is to preach Christ crucified and to share the good news of the gospel with the unbeliever.
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, 'How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!' (Romans 10: 13-15)
